PROCESS ROUTE

Typical Process Route

This is a typical configuration logic, not a fixed equipment list. The final design depends on feed analysis, target requirements, capacity and site constraints.

  1. 01

    Feed Equalization

    Stabilize flow, turbidity and pH

  2. 02

    Coagulation/Flocculation

    Form settleable flocs

  3. 03

    Clarification

    Reduce the downstream filter load

  4. 04

    Media Filtration

    Capture residual fine particles

  5. 05

    Disinfection & Storage

Condition water for its intended use

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Technical Notes & FAQ

Clear principles, prerequisites and operating limits help determine whether a process is suitable before quotation.

01 / KNOWLEDGE

Why not use one fixed coagulant dose?

Demand changes with turbidity, temperature, pH, alkalinity and organics. Jar tests or operating data should define an adjustable dosing window.

02 / KNOWLEDGE

Poor settling: simply add more chemical?

Not necessarily. Mixing energy, flocculation time, hydraulic short-circuiting, surface loading and sludge withdrawal must also be checked.

03 / KNOWLEDGE

Can the equalization tank be omitted?

Large flow or quality swings still need buffering. Passing every fluctuation directly to the package destabilizes dosing, settling and filtration.

04 / KNOWLEDGE

When should filters backwash?

Use runtime together with differential pressure and outlet turbidity. Backwash intensity is confirmed during commissioning to avoid bed compaction or media loss.

Engineering boundary: The process train and dosing strategy must be verified against full feed-water analysis, seasonal variation and target quality.
